Oro Money

Oro Corp is a gold-based fintech startup in pre Series-C round of funding. We are building solutions to make gold an earning asset for the GDP along with a store of wealth. The company has couple of products - Oro Money and Oro Safe. Oro Money is the doorstep gold lending platform and Oro Safe is a doorstep gold locker service.

I take care of the entire web vertical of the company, here are some of the things I've done:

• Led a team of 6 frontend engineers, while cultivating modern React+TypeScript practices and creating frontend governance standards across 11 complex products spanning 3 business verticals.

• Architected and introduced micro frontend architecture with nginx proxies to support incremental modernization, reducing technical debt, and improving team satisfaction through modular, independently deployable frontend components.

• Initiated and created Aurum - internal design library built with Storybook and optimized with esbuild, used across multiple products to ensure consistent UI/UX.

• Developed tools for ENV synchronization, automated versioning, and CI/CD pipelines to successfully manage concurrent development across operations, sales, growth, and finance platforms.

• Integrated CMS for Oro Money landing page, based on NextJS using ISR + SSG hosted on a VPS, allowing the marketing team to implement 20+ variations in an hour, accelerating campaign launches and revenue generation.

• Engineered robust RBAC systems with JWT authentication, integrated Sentry for production monitoring, leveraged Parcel to bundle internal utility packages and shared components for optimized build performance, enhanced security to comply with various audits, and migrated legacy GraphQL systems to REST architecture with backend team.
